Starting a chinese resturant

Hi

I am planning to open a chinese resturant in Ludhiana. I have about 20 Lakhs to invest. Please help me in know how to go about looking for a good chef.

it is good to heard that u r opening a chinese restaurant.there r 3 imp things while opening a restaurant....location,location and location...so 1st think about location.if u have already decided about it then 2nd thing is ur concept like fine dining,take away,a hang out place or jst a fast food outlet u have 2 open...by seeing ur budget u can easily open a hang out place(u have not mentioned is the place is urs or u r hiring it) as it is the most successful concept for new restaurant.then the menu...authentic chinese or indochinese...it is universally proved that indian chinese food is most popular all over the world n obviously in india also than the authentic.it is accepted by chinese chefs also.so go 4 indichinese menu.so for that look out 4 different restaurants in ur area or ur knows restaurants...where u like the food...so try to take their employees to ur place...yes,divide n rule...most important formula in restaurant industry...give them a good salary as it can become USP of ur restaurant,u can try out for the star hotels also..wait outside the hotel for particular employee...catch him,talk 2 him n hire,dont go for degree holder chefs as they will gauranteed leav ur place after 1-2 years...then offcource service is the most imp part...grab it from nearer fine restaurants...also dont 4gt to look 4 quality n hygiene...no need to hire a manager as if u can b there whole day u can save cost 4 it...best of luck 4 ur restaurant...:-)
