I'm brand new to this opening a business thing, i would really just like to ask where to begin?

The first step is a basic accounting course. You could even just read an accounting book. Owning a business is ALL about the numbers. Knowing how to cook, enjoying people, etc. all mean nothing if you cannot determine if you are making a profit.
After you have learned enough about the numbers to be dangerous, by a good franchise.
